| | | | | | | I was diagnosed with PCOS aged 17 and I appeared to be able to manage my symptoms by taking the oral contraceptive pill and exercising regularly. However, after a year of battling to lose the weight gained during pregnancy and control my symptoms I hit an all time low, read up on PCOS, began a lifestyle overhaul and consulted a medical herbalist.
I have set-up this site to share the insights I have gained and provide a source of high quality Complementary & Alternative Medicine treatments. Any information provided is not done so in any professional capacity and should not be considered an alternative to seeking a qualified professional opinion. However, the range of vitamin, mineral and herb supplements are widely recognised for their properties and may be of benefit in controlling some of the symptoms associated with PCOS.
